Spectators are encouraged to also come to the "Victory" Party at Mountain Town Station, beginning at 10 a.m., just a quick jump from the finish line. Spectators will have a chance to watch the race unfold from the racer's perspective through web cams and cheer on the racers as they bask in the glory of completing the first ever Freaking Freezing Challenge.
Want to watch racers run by? Mountain Town Station will have their outdoor patio opened especially for the event so you can get a first-hand look as racers rush by as you stay warm and enjoy a local craft brew.
A few other spectator spots:
1. Why not cheer on the runners as they begin the challenge right at Island Park? We will be hosting a bonfire so you can watch as racers carry, run, and jump through a few obstacles as you stay warm by the fire.
2. Mill Pond at Adams Street - This area will be the half-way point of the race and we have created quite a challenge, with easy parking right at the park, you're bound to be inspired by the racers.
3. The finish line at City Hall. As racers run down Broadway they will come to the last "top secret" obstacle next to City Hall in Downtown. You can be the first to applaud all those brave enough to take on the challenge as they cross the finish line and head over to the Victory Party.
