Freakin’ Freezing Challenge

Be one of the first to experience the Freaking Freezing Challenge, a unique winter-themed obstacle course that challenges its participants to brave Michigan’s brutal elements and goes beyond your typical obstacle course. We supply participants with the essentials – hat, gloves, and a sweatshirt, but the rest is up to you. Face the freezing Michigan weather and have fun while doing it, we challenge you!

The event will be held at Island Park, 331 Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on Saturday, February 9, 2013. This fun and daring course will challenge you to run, climb, crawl and jump your way through obstacles that are strategically placed along the course.

Upon finishing, runners will be congratulated with a finisher’s mug and a cold beer at the on-site after party to bask in their victory!

Tire Trap

Trek through the tire trap obstacle, where you will need to hop, skip and jump through a ground full of old tires to continue onto the course!

Log Carry

We challenge you to pick up a log of your preferred weight and carry it 25 yards to the “pit.”

Creek Jump

Over the river and through the woods!

Icy Army Crawl

Crawl your way through 50 feet of snow and ice!

Off-Road Trek

Take one of two paths; challenge your stamina with an off road path or regain that energy with a straight-away path.

Wind Tunnel

Challenge yourself to get through this forceful tunnel as a force of wind is holding you back!

Up & Over

Climb your way up this hurdle and down the other side!

Hay Bale Brawl

Hike your way up this challenging obstacle and do your best not to wear yourself out just yet – you’re almost there!

Uphill Trduge

Test your strength with an icy hill before you get to the best part yet!

Car Collision

Scuttle your way over iced down old beaters!
